The “All-Terrain” X-Racer will be accompanied by a range of co-branded sportswear: track bottoms, tees, hoodies, along with zip cargo pocket-equipped vests and shorts, featuring vintage, East German rain camouflage fabric. Update (06/16/20): Bodega has announced the release info for its New Balance collaboration. Check out the official NB product images below. It will be available at New Balance NYC, Shanghai and Harajuku on July 9th, and in limited quantities on on July 13th (9am CT). Update (07/06/20): New Balance has announced a wider release for its X-Racer “All Terrain” Capsule collection with Bodega. Finally, the shoe marries the X-Racer’s sculpted ABZORB midsole with a rugged trail-ready outsole. The shoe also appears to use significantly heftier lockdown mechanisms than the mainline X-Racer, and it features straps holding down the laces and tongue (which features a removable Bodega-patterned loop). The X-Racer All-Terrain features completely revamped ripstop and suede paneling including a stitched New Balance N on the lateral side and a printed hot pink logo on the medial side.
New Balance fan accounts have received early pairs of the new model, which appears to be a retro hiking-inspired makeover of the brand’s X-Racer model.
